A NOTE FROM EMILY

Hi friends! Happy March! March is a special month around here... our birthday is on the first (seven years, can you believe it?), flower buds are forming, spring is springing (maybe not a word in this context, but roll with me), it's staying lighter later into the day... everything feels fresher, like there's a new beginning around every corner.

And isn't that just want new parenthood is? March reminds me so much of that second month postpartum... when we open the shades and let some light in. March is wearing our favorite underwear again (bye pads and stained granny panties). March is finding your rhythm in a new role.

If you've been around for a bit, you know that this is the first year of solo-ownership for me at Doulas of Cincinnati. I am so thankful with all of your patience over the past 6 months as I've navigated being the only point of contact here, four kids (who have been sick non-stop... Spring Cleaning can't come soon enough), the holidays, and, of course, being present at your births. <3

I'm making some big changes here and I'm eager to share them with y'all. First up, I've welcomed our beloved Kayla Holmes on as my administrative assistant. Don't worry, she'll still be loving on you and your babies overnight, but during the day, she'll be more present via email, social media, calls, etc. Please send her your congratulations when you see her!

I can't wait for you to see what's in store this eighth year of ours. I have so many incredible things planned that I know you will love. More than anything, I hope this season is one of fresh inspiration for you and your families, that allows for you to find presence and joy in the every day moments. Well, that, and new underwear.

xo, Emily
